The Big Gun Racing Team of Peter Burnitt, Brad Patton, Ryal Harris and Greg Willis are pumped and ready for their assault on the most famous motor racing circuit in the southern hemisphere this weekend.

The four pristine V8 Utes are locked and loaded and the team flies into Sydney early Wednesday morning in readiness for another epic assault on ‘the Mountain’.

“You can’t really even say the word Bathurst without getting goose-bumps,” says VIP Petfoods XR8 pilot Brad Patton, “it’s just a place that demands respect and demands 100% of your attention. It’s hard not to love the place.”

The Big Gun V8 Ute Racing team of Brad Patton, Peter Burnitt, Ryal Harris and Greg Willis are as ready as they’ll ever be for this weekend’s fourth round of the 2011 Auto One V8 Ute Series at the Townsville Sucrogen 400.

Team Manager / Head Engineer Joe De Vries has been in Townsville for over a week now prepping the cars and setting things up for what the team hopes will be it’s most successful round yet in 2011.

“We’ve had some tremendous help from the TAFE up here,” says De Vries, “as have several other teams as well. The assistance we’ve received from the TAFE guys has been really vital in our build up and we can’t thank them enough for all that they are doing.”
