Big Gun announce Teng Tools as new sponsor Print

Official press release – Big Gun Racing

Big Gun Racing are proud to announce a new sponsor in the form of Teng Tools, on the eve of the second round of the second round of the 2011 Auto One V8 Ute Series, protected by Armor All.
“Nobody tests their tools and their equipment in a more high intensity environment than we do in V8 Ute Racing,” smiles Big Gun hard charger Brad Patton, “it’s the nature of the beast that something’s going to get bent, something’s going to need to be fixed, and it’s all got to happen in a heartbeat. That’s why we can’t afford to take chances with our spares inventory or our tools. It has to be Teng Tools for us, that’s all there is to it.”
Since 1985 Teng Tools have been producing high performance, tough tools for the work and racing environment.

Big Gun Racing are proud to welcome onboard Teng Tools for the 2011 season and welcome and thank personally Claye Brierley and Mark Kleinschmidt for joining the team.

Big Gun Racing is also proud to endorse, support and promote the other team sponsors including Supercheap Autos, Spitwater Australia, Go Karting Gold Coast and QFord.
“Without the support of these fine companies, what we do would be so much harder,” says Big Gun racer Pete “Gangsta” Burnitt, “taking four V8 Utes on the road in a national series is no easy feat and so we need the support of people like this to help make it happen.”
Burnitt is especially excited to be competing in the Perth round; he has a “Rides Day” opportunity at Barbagallo Raceway on the Monday after the big race for his great friends and sponsors CNW Electrical.
Brad Patton has never raced at the WA venue, so he comes into the affair with all (Big) Guns blazing in his immaculate VIP Petfoods XR8 Falcon – together of course with livewire teammate Ryal Harris in the near-identical Falcon.
Throw in the immaculate Only Juice XR8 Falcon of Greg Willis and this all-Queensland awesome foursome is ready to rock the Barbagallo layout.
“It’s pretty well expected that there’ll be some bump and grind in any round of V8 Utes,” says Ryal Harris, “and there was at Adelaide for the first round. At least this time we know, we’ve got some awesome tools on the job with Teng Tools should we need to burn the midnight oil!”
